About CAMPS @DIE PERDEPLAAS
Our Mission, Our Heart and Our Calling
Die Perdeplaas Camp Site was founded by Willie and Heidi, whose lives have always been centred around serving children and sharing the message of Jesus.
Willie has been involved in gospel singing for children for over 20 years. Through music, he has reached and ministered to countless young hearts, using song as a powerful way to teach faith, values and hope.
Heidi brings many years of experience as a teacher and horse instructor, with a special focus on working with children, including children with disabilities. Her passion lies in nurturing, guiding and supporting each child with patience, understanding and care.
Together, Willie and Heidi share a clear purpose: to serve children, create a safe and loving environment, and help children grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Die Perdeplaas Camp Site was created as an extension of this calling — a peaceful farm-based camp with practical facilities where churches, schools and groups can host meaningful camps with confidence, purpose and heart
Our Mission
Our mission at Die Perdeplaas Camp Site is to serve children with love, purpose and faith, while creating a safe and welcoming environment where they can grow emotionally, socially and spiritually.
We are passionate about providing a peaceful farm-style space where children can step away from daily distractions, connect with nature, and experience meaningful moments together. Through camps, group activities and shared experiences, we aim to encourage positive values, leadership, teamwork and a deeper understanding of Christian principles.
Everything we do is rooted in service — from the way our facilities are designed to the way each group is welcomed. Our heart is to support churches, schools and organisations by offering a well-equipped camp environment that allows them to focus on what matters most: investing in the lives of children.
